In Need you will need to fill out a volunteer application.
You can download
this application online, or call 425-451-8838 and
request a volunteer application be sent to you.
Becoming a WWIN volunteer
All applications are screened by the WWIN volunteer
coordinator to determine your skills, capacity, abilities,
and interests, and to identify the best fit for the
volunteer projects and tasks available at WWIN. A personal
interview is scheduled for you to meet with the coordinator
at the WWIN office.
Your volunteer coordinator will review in detail the
tasks and projects handled by volunteers and the time
schedule on which the volunteer work is performed. She
will also discuss the time commitment necessary to complete
the work to be accomplished.
If
you and WWIN determine this is a good fit, a time is
set for you to return to our office and go through a
one hour training on the specific work to be accomplished.
Volunteer projects and tasks can change over time, and
volunteers are encouraged to learn other jobs.
