Washington Women In Need has established partnerships and has received tremendous support from many local businesses over the past 15 years. Throughout the year, we have opportunities for businesses to support the Mission of Washington Women In Need and to help promote their business, as well.
Business Sponsor of the Month
Businesses can choose a month during the year to support WWIN in creative ways. A business can designate a percentage of their earnings for the month. For example, a hair salon can designate $1.00 per cut for a month; A Massage Therapist can designate $1.00 per massage for the month. At the same time a donation is made to WWIN, printed materials are made available to the Business Sponsor to further describe the Programs of Washington Women In Need and the women we serve.
Dr. Theresa Cheng, DDS, was the Business Sponsor of the Month in March this year. Dr. Cheng donated a percentage of receipts from all patient visits during that month. Dr. Cheng displayed information in her waiting room, which described the services provided by WWIN. Dr. Cheng practices periodontal dentistry in the Issaquah community and can be contacted directly at http://www.theresacheng.com/.
Event Partnerships
WWIN holds two major fundraising Luncheons each year. Many generous local businesses, corporations and individuals give leadership gifts or partnership gifts for the Luncheons that directly support the programs of WWIN. The 2008 Seattle Spring Benefit Luncheon is scheduled for March 25, 2008 and the 2008 Bellevue Spring Benefit Luncheon is scheduled for April 24, 2008. All leadership gift fund donors and partners for the Luncheons are promoted during both events and can be included on the WWIN website with connecting links, if available.
